This new build draws inspiration from the mathematics of nature and a connection to natural form (think logarithmic spirals, grids, and the Fibonacci Sequence). Our first partnership with Shaw Design, they recommended we speak to these clients, as they knew CBID would be the ideal interior design team to contribute to the harmony and balance of this modern design. The home owners were seeking a home that represented both of their distinct styles. Now comes the fun part! He preferred dark colors and bold lines, while she was drawn to light colors and curves. We willingly took on this exhilarating challenge and brought together their differing design aesthetics seamlessly, providing a unique space rich with liveable function. The house slowly reveals itself as you step through, unfolding with subtle invitations of material, intrigue, and texture. Light and dark make intentional appearances using color and natural elements. Breaking out of all traditional molds, this couple pushed design limits in a productive and inspiring way, resulting in a home that’s as much of a journey as the experience of building it. Soft touches such as gorgeous fabrics, luxurious area rugs, wallcoverings, and sumptuous upholstery complement bold, breathtaking intrigue that keeps the eye engaged at every turn. Our entire CBID team and expert collaborators listened closely to bring this quiet, confident vision to life.
